Connect Mindle to your AI app
One address. Any app that speaks MCP.
Mindle runs an MCP server, so any AI app that supports remote MCP can reach your notes once you approve it. You need a Mindle account and the address below.
- Copy the server address.
- Add it in your AI app, using the tab for it below.
- Sign in to Mindle and approve the connection once.
Server address: https://api.mindle.mx/mcp. Works on every Mindle plan, including free.
Same steps on claude.ai and in the desktop app.
- Open Customize, then Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Paste https://api.mindle.mx/mcp and name it Mindle.
- Under OAuth client, leave Register automatically selected.
- Click Add, then Connect, and approve on the Mindle screen.
The free Claude plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise an owner adds it for the organisation first, then each member clicks Connect.
Add it, then sign in.

Remote MCP servers live behind developer mode.
- Open Settings, then Security and login.
- Turn Developer mode on.
- In the composer's developer mode panel, click the plus and enter https://api.mindle.mx/mcp.
- Approve on the Mindle screen.
Developer mode is available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education, in the web app. Write actions ask you to confirm before they run.
One entry in the MCP config file.

What it can do
Once you approve the connection.
- Search your notes, tasks, concepts and images.
- Read the passages that answer your question.
- Save a new note.
- Add to a note, replace one exact passage, or rename it.
- Add an image from a public web address.
- Undo its own last change.
What it cannot do
Mindle refuses these, whatever the app is asked to do.
- Replace a whole note.
- Delete a note.
- Remove an image.
- Reword, reorder or delete your to-dos. It can add and tick them.
- Edit a note you typed in during the last minute and a half.
- See anything outside your account.
Disconnect
Access stops immediately. Your notes stay.
- In Mindle: Settings, Connected AI apps, Disconnect.
- In the app itself: remove the connector there too.
Questions
Which Mindle plans can connect?
All of them, including free. Notes and images made through an AI app count against your usual monthly allowance.
Can I connect more than one app?
Yes. Each one signs in separately and appears on its own row in Settings, so you can disconnect one without touching the others.
Can the app read all my notes?
It can search all of them and read the ones it needs. Nothing outside your account. Search returns snippets, not whole notes.
Can it delete a note?
No. The most it can do is replace a passage it quoted exactly, and an edit that would empty a note is refused.
What happens if I disconnect?
Access stops at once. Everything the app created or edited stays. You can connect again later, which asks for approval again.
Can I undo what an AI app changed?
Yes. Ask it to undo. Mindle keeps the previous version of every AI edit for 30 days, up to the last 20 edits on a note.
Does the app see my password?
No. You sign in on Mindle's own page and Mindle gives the app a token instead. Revoke it any time from Settings.
